Talents: Potions, Quidditch, History (prefers history of magic, history of his family, Wales and Bulgaria, but will read just about any history book he can get his hands on).
Weakness: Charms, Divination, Arithmancy, all of the Fluffy classes. He also comes across as being arrogant as he has an almost photographic memory and does not hesitate to correct anyone, even his professors.
Likes: Quidditch (Keeper mostly, but also seeker). Books (knowledge), Dark Arts, knowing the right people, magical creatures, and scaring muggles.

Bio: Caddell is a first generation American. His father is Welsh and mother is Bulgarian, so he is fluent in all three languages. He is a pure-blood wizard and can trace his heritage back hundreds of years on both sides. Although his parents are pure-bloods he was raised within the muggle society to "give him the experience". His parents told him it would make him a better wizard, but he doubted that.
He has been on a broom since he was old enough to sit still and not fall off. His experience has been limited to summer leagues in Bulgaria since his parents chose to live in muggle neighborhoods and while there was another wizard or two nearby, there were not enough to provide a decent game.
Caddell started school a year early. This coupled with his propensity to keep to himself and the common mistake of his disseminating knowledge as arrogance led him to be ostracized by his peers even before his magical abilities became apparent. Following a fight in first grade that landed him in the hospital with a broken arm, his parents enrolled him in St. Catherine’s Military Academy. He flourished in the environment, and had earned the rank of Corporal by the time he finished third grade. By the time his acceptance letters to both Durmstrang and Salem Witches’ and Wizards’ Institute found him, he had managed the rank of 1st Lieutenant.
Given his own way, Caddell would have followed in his parents' footsteps and have made the voyage to Durmstrang. However, his mother wished that he remain closer to home. Not that it made much sense to him as with flu powder and apparition the distance could be traversed with relative ease.
Caddell has spent every summer with his cousins in Bulgaria and has learned potions first hand from his uncle. His habit for designing his own potions has landed him in a wizarding hospital on more than one occasion. However, despite these set backs, he takes every opportunity to prove his ability or try to solve a challenge that has been posed to him or he has come across in his reading.
